Here are the 2 companies we'll be visiting on October 9: Mimotec has developed an innovative technology, UV-LIGA, which pushes back the limits of traditional manufacturing methods.
This process, widely proven in the watchmaking industry, offers an industrial solution for the miniaturization of components, opening up new prospects in sectors such as connector technology, microfluidics and micromolds.
Sigatec specializes in the manufacture of silicon micromechanical components.
It manufactures parts mainly for the watchmaking sector, as well as, for example, for the aerospace and biomedical industries.
Key activities are carried out in clean rooms, in an extremely clean environment.
The technology we use enables us to achieve near-micron precision with complex geometries that are difficult to achieve using traditional methods.
