Starry exploration of time

A familiar but fascinating concept, where time and space are plunged between watchmaking and astronomy.

The stars, fascinating celestial objects, have always intrigued researchers, who have studied them to understand their impact on time and space. From the meridian telescope to atomic clocks, the history of time measurement is intimately linked to the observation of the stars. Watches are a perfect illustration of this relationship between the exploration of space and time.

At the SSC ICC 2025, exciting speakers will invite attendees to explore a wide range of topics, from the astronomical complications of watches to the history of timekeeping and technological advances in the field.
