Recomatic will open its doors on November 10, 2026, for a half-day event focused on surface engineering
What defines a “high-quality” surface? Is it its roughness, appearance, coefficient of friction, wear resistance, functional properties, or the ability to control it reliably?
This afternoon’s session will cover the entire surface engineering process: from laser texturing and advanced polishing to functional coatings, industrial PVD processes, machine vision, and AI-based inspection, before moving on to Recomatic’s fully automated surface finishing solutions.
Drawing on the complementary perspectives of research, startups, and industrial companies, we will explore how surfaces can be intelligently designed, finished, functionalized, industrialized, and controlled.
Organized from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. by Recomatic, CoBooster, and Micronarc, the event will bring together the expertise of inspire, Swiss Plasma Polishing, Argor-Aljba, Platit, Dgtis, and AI Swiss. It will conclude with a guided tour of Recomatic’s facilities, followed by a networking reception.
