Recomatic will open its doors on November 10, 2026, for a half-day event focused on surface engineering
What makes a surface “good”? Roughness, appearance, friction, wear resistance, functionality, or the ability to inspect it reliably?
This afternoon’s session will cover the entire surface engineering process: from laser texturing and advanced polishing to functional coatings, industrial PVD processes, machine vision, and AI-based inspection, before moving on to Recomatic’s fully automated surface finishing solutions.
Drawing on complementary perspectives from research, startups, and industrial companies, we will explore how surfaces can be intelligently designed, finished, made functional, manufactured, and inspected.
From 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., this event is co-organized by Recomatic, CoBooster, and Micronarc, featuring practical insights from Argor Aljba, Swiss Plasma Polishing, Inspire, Platit, Dgtis, and AI Swiss, followed by a guided tour of Recomatic’s facilities and a networking reception.
