Who can participate?
Any co-contractor offering a solution (technological innovation, business innovation, service) that contributes to the success of a client company.
What are the eligibility criteria?
Co-contractors applying for the prize must prove the impact of their solution with a testimonial from a customer company.
Co-contractor :
- Start-up or SME
- Registered in the RC of one of the cantons of French-speaking Switzerland (FR, VD, VS, NE, GE, JU), in the form of an SA or a Sàrl.
- Business activities exclusively in the micro-nano field (subcontracting, co-contracting, partner, service provider, etc.).
- Must not be affiliated in any way whatsoever with the client company (apart from the commercial link with the latter)
- The impact of the solution provided by the co-contractor must be confirmed by a testimonial from at least one customer company.
Customer company :
- International, national or French-speaking, with a recognized legal form (SA, Sàrl, LLC, Ltd, etc.).
- All fields of activity (not limited to micro-nano)
- SMEs only (minimum existence > 5 years)
- Must not be affiliated in any way whatsoever with the co-contractor (apart from the commercial link with the latter)
Who chooses the winner?
The winner will be chosen by the members of the Micronarc expert committee. This committee ensures that the winner is representative of all sectors: industrial, academic and institutional.

Who’s behind the prize?
Micronarc is a communication and exchange platform supported by the governments of the six cantons making up Western Switzerland (Fribourg, Vaud, Neuchâtel, Geneva, Valais and Jura). Its main mission is to develop and promote the region’s scientific, technical and economic position in the field of micro- and nanotechnologies, as well as its training, R&D, technology transfer and hosting infrastructures.
Who sponsors the prize?
Bergeon SA, with over two centuries of expertise, has become a factory with 60% of its staff dedicated to production. Based in La Chaux-de-Fonds on a 4,000 m² site, it integrates R&D, CNC machining and assembly. Active in over 110 countries, it is diversifying into microtechnology and Med Tech. A training company, it employs 80 people in Switzerland and 3 in Asia. ISO 9001 and 14001 certified, it adopts a “Global Concept” approach to offer turnkey technical solutions.
